Administrative Notice:

New Policy:

A mercy rule, brings a sports event to an early end when one team has a very large and presumably insurmountable lead over the other team. The mercy rule is most common in games such as baseball or softball, where there is no game clock and play could theoretically continue forever...

The 507th will be making adjustments to these players, including "benching" (aka: banning) people with disproportionally high K/D ratio.

The 507th was founded in 2005, to give the world a fun place to play, where civility, teamwork, and fun rule supreme.

We all have good days, or good rounds... but players who have unrealistic kill to death ratios, even if legitimate, effect the moral of other players. Playing against these opponents detracts from the other players fun.

We have often said that personality and maturity far outweigh personal skill. This rule is an extension of that ideal. The 507th server is not intended to be a training ground for elite players, or hackers. It's a place where regular people come to have fun.

Critera for calculation:

* An unusually high K/D ratio. The actual calculation is withheld from public examination.
* An adequate number of kills to make an informed decision. A brief winning streak will normally not trigger this action.

This rule is NOT to be enforced by server admins, but rather by an administrative review.
